All three applications are contained in the one package. This was to simplify for distribution purposes. Only the registration file activates the features of each application.
Only one application is active. Each application is a unique program and therefore each requires a unique registration file the cost of which is stated on the web page.
The applications all support multiple clients/stations
Each station requires a unique key. It is closely linked to the database structure. The integrity of the data wil be compromised if duplicate keys are used. Which will Result in erroneous operations as well as execution errors.
All applications keep local files in its installed directory for maintenance purposes. Also used for auditing purposes to compare with the central database.
You can run reports while the system is receiving entries. So you can have up to date information on the fly.
A flag on the database indicates if an employee is present and what time he/she was logged in
Any given date you can check to see if a person was currently logged in or not or even if they were logged in and how many times they logged in/out
You can examine how the attendence varied over time based on various criteria. For instance by date, name , hours worked etc
A chart displayed on the opening form is updated every 15mins to show the number of emplyees currently logged into the system
You can examine data entered via other stations or all in one report/chart
You can query on any set of items which fall below any value to be displayed in a report or chart form
All idle stock can be easily spotted via the histogram chart
Expenditure of stocks over a period of time can be displayed via the chart to show how an item or particular items are doing over the time period specified
You can display in report or chart form which rental items are due and all accompanying data associated with the rental purchase
It will log each rental of the same item with unique characteristics totally transparent to the user
The system recalls all the names of the persons who rented the item and populates a popup list for the user to navigate through and verify with the customer which is his/her name
A password is encrypted in the registration file , the name is provided by you the person purchasing the software. This password enables features which only the manger of the system is privy to
All records written by the system creates checksum values. So if any data modified outside of the system it produces a mismatch. The reports ran by the manager can set the criteria to look for all invalid entries and rectify
